Software cdc_laser_ke is a customer-specific software that, in combination with a Schleuniger Cut&Strip machine and a PLC, enables the marking of cables with a marking laser. It is currently used on fiber lasers from Koenig & Bauer and Panasonic.
The cdc_laser_ke can be used in "full featured" connections or just for filling data fields.
The software serves as an interface between the Schleuniger Cayman software and the PLC. The PLC software for controlling the laser and the creation of suitable templates on the laser is the responsibility of the customer.
Brief description
- The software processes Cayman TTP / laser text zones (areas)
- Transmission of formatted texts via TCP to a Modbus PLC interface
- The program supports variable fields (counter for each article, year, calendar week, day of the year), which can be extended to meet customer-specific requirements
- The Item counter are incremented during the day and reset at the end of the day
